Generalization
Taking some specific behaviour or experience and deciding that it applies in other contexts. For example "People always laugh at me", is a phrase I often hear which I know is not a true statement of fact.
Generative Change
A change which enables further change throughout time, somewhat like evolution.
Genius State
A resourceful state which is sometimes described as "being all there". It is an optimal state where you are absorbed and concentrating and also enlightened. We all experience this state of well-being from time to time, perhaps when reading a captivating novel. It is that moment which you can become lost in.
Gestalt
A word which describes the wholeness of experience in all senses and at all levels.
Gestalt Psychology
A style of psychology which derives from the consideration of the human mind and behaviours as one whole
Gustatory
A word to describe the sense of taste.
