Hypnosis

Hypnosis is the art of guiding someone to a state of mind where the subject has more direct access to their unconscious mind and powerful changes can then be installed through suggestive language. A good starting example is "you are feeling sleepy" this presumptious statement allows the hypnotist to set an unconscious expectation in the patient.

Hypnotic Language Patterns

Patterns of speech which install commands or suggestions directly into the listener at some level. Again a great example of this is "you are feeling sleepy" it is a suggestion but it also leaves no room for doubt.
